I recently had the opportunity to interview Susan, the night manager, at the Glen Tavern. Susan just happens to live on the property, so she has knowledge of the history and activities at the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula, Ca. This is the site where the 2007 South Coast Paranormal Convention will be held. The video is 7:50 minutes long, but if you have an interest in the Glen Tavern Inn, I believe it is worth the watch.

Visable Mist and 6 Sided Orb

I had the pleasure of being invited to an investigation with The Pasadena Paranormal Reserch Society at the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula, CA.

They are a great group, dedicated and professional, and it was an honor to be invited.

This is a hotel that is reputedly haunted. Upon walking in the front door for the very first time, I could feel 'something'. I don't know if it was anticipation, or the feel of the history (being built in 1911) or the smell of age and comfort.

Everyone at the Inn was very gracious and welcoming and very open to the events that have been experieinced in the Inn. Needless to say, it was an adventure.

I took many photos, I ran the video recorder, and the Digital Voice Recorder throughout my wanderings in the Inn.

I took exterior daytime shots for my records, and one of them had a six sided orb and a mist - very visible, shot in broad daylight. This only precluded the events to be experienced as the day, and night, went on.

I came across a number of 'gel' orbs, and had a couple of experiences myself. My team had a couple of experiences. I set up a video camera to record in my room while I was out. There was something there.

I quickly put together a little music video of some of the pics and video I captured. Once again, while editing, much like the Queen Mary Video, I saw something, that is unexplainable. At the very end of the video I captured 3 'wisps' appearing like smoke in the entry to the 1st floor hallway. My focus was directed there due to the calling out of a spirit who had a room right near that entryway, so I felt I might capture something...I may have been right. Feelings often direct where I focus and I find they are a valuable tool to follow, a lot of the time.

The Inn was totally booked up and there were a lot of people and normal activities occuring that I feel might have dampened the normal 'paranormal' activity that is usually experienced.

I have been invited back again, to experience the Inn without the 'full house' activities, and hopefully capture more - of the 'paranormal'...

This picture was 3 pictures taken consecutively that I grouped into one. I was about to go into my room and felt the need to shoot a picture behind me. I looked at first shot and saw this orb, and shot 2 more photos. As I have said in the past, I do not consider orbs to be any sort of definite evidence of a haunting, but I found these three shots interesting. I remember at the time I took the pictures, there was an exhilarating feeling I had, I felt as though there WAS something there. For all I know, this could have been a bug caught in my flash, but I DO KNOW, that I did NOT see or experience ANY sort of bugs there at all...flying or crawling. So, you be the judge.

This next shot was one of my earlier shots in the day. It struck me odd, due to the color. I dismissed it until I was able to download it and really look at it. It looks like a red orb in motion, or 2 red orbs joining, or 1 orb splitting in two, or a red mist. I can't be sure, but I like the catch.
